*If you are towing with a pintle ring trailer, use 2 5/16" ball, NOT 2" ball when towing.

Does Your Truck Have a Lift Kit?

Even if your truck has a lift kit, this hitch can still be used safely. However, long drop hitches (12" or more) add leverage on the vehicle receiver, which in some cases may reduce the receiver's rating by up to 50%.

Long drop hitches also create more movement due to added length. Using the Stabilizer Kit (GH-0100) ties the bottom of the GEN-Y adjustable drop hitch into the truck frame, reducing stress on the receiver and minimizing ball mount movement for safer towing.
